Shani Coleman

Shani J. Coleman is the current Director of Community & Economic Development for Clark County, NV. In her role, Ms. Coleman is developing and managing programs that support the economic vitality of all unincorporated Clark County areas. This includes development, redevelopment, business attraction and expansion. Ms. Coleman has close to 20 years of experience with real estate and development within Southern Nevada. Her experience includes work at the city of Las Vegas that focused on development of the city’s urban core and leading on the city’s development efforts for the Las Vegas Medical District.

In addition to development, Ms. Coleman is skilled in local, regional and federal government relations and served as the lead lobbyist for the city of Las Vegas during the 2019 Nevada Legislative Session. Ms. Coleman holds a master’s degree in Public Administration and a Juris Doctor from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
