Blake brings nearly 40 years of experience providing tax consulting and compliance services to clients that include multinational, large, closely held owner-managed businesses and high net-worth individuals.

Blake specializes in federal and state income tax planning for businesses and high net worth families. He is well versed in entity choice and generational financial and tax planning. Throughout his career, Blake has specialized in federal, state and local tax incentive programs, and currently focuses on the Federal Opportunity Zone program. A tax program that allows individual and business taxpayers the ability to exit appreciated assets, defer the tax for up to seven years, and ultimately exempt post reinvestment appreciation after 10 years. Blake and the HCVT OZ Team has assisted over 125 clients and other CPAs in establishing OZ Funds for both real estate projects and operating businesses.
